Angela + Anthony - Louisville, KY Wedding

Maaaan do we love Angela + Anthony. From the first minute of our first meeting, we knew we were the perfect fit. We did full planning and design for them, which is always really special for us - it's a whole different level of involvement.

From Rifle Paper Co. envelope liners to their bourbon barrel escort card display, we helped them craft a day that was definitely reflective of their sweet, quirky and Southern selves. (They have the best Kentucky accents!)

We laughed our way through over a year of meetings with Angela + Anthony, and cried happy tears when they tied the knot (ok, ok - we always cry). It will always be one of our favorite projects. Here's a little look at their day:

Leslie + Dane - Columbus, OH Wedding

While we were designing the new website, we spent a lot of time going through the photos from our 2014 weddings. Photographs are amazing, aren't they? They can transport us back to an exact moment and allow us to remember even the tiniest of details.

Luckily, we have the most beautiful pictures from Adam Lowe to remember Leslie and Dane's wedding day, because it was one for the books.

We met Leslie and Dane while we were working a wedding a couple years ago - they are amazing wedding cinematographers and photographers. And mind-blowingly creative. And the cutest couple ever.

Their big day was colorful, quirky, handcrafted and FUN. See for yourself!

Patty + Ben - Gambier, OH Wedding

We are so excited to share Patty + Ben's big day! We've been holding onto this one because... we were waiting for its publication in Modern Weddings magazine! Now that the mag has hit newsstands, we're ready to show you the details from this fun + colorful summer wedding, photographed by the amazing . (Seriously, hire this lady - she's one of our absolute favorites!) Patty + Ben are sweet and silly, so we infused their wedding with details to match. Gigantic balloons, vibrant tassel garlands and a wall of candy-colored ribbons set the stage for a fun-filled day. At the end of the night, everyone said that it was "so Patty and Ben" and we tend to agree!

The result of all this loveliness? Our very first client baby! Patty + Ben just had a beautiful baby boy. We'll be sharing the baby shower we styled for them soon!

Rob + Alana's Lovely Louisville Wedding

Meet Rob + Alana, two of our favorites. Aren't they just the cutest?

Rob and Alana serendipitously met on New Year's Eve in downtown Nashville as they both flagged down the same cab (seriously - like a movie). They ended up spending the night galavanting around Nashville's honky tonks and Rob serenaded Alana with some late night karaoke. He must have had one sweet singing voice, because the rest is history.

They got married on May 18 and we just had to share a little bit of their day!

We loved that they did a handfasting ceremony. Fun fact: A handfasting ceremony is an ancient marriage ritual made popular in Ireland and Scotland. This symbolic lashing together of the couple’s hands is the origin of the familiar expression “tying the knot.”

Their venue, the Marcus Lindsey, is a restored sanctuary that was built in 1898 at the center of the NuLu district in Louisville. The venue boasts it's original stained glass windows and hand-crafted cathedral ceiling. Yes, it was as beautiful as it sounds.

Hands down, our favorite detail of their wedding (and of their love story in general) is what we'll call the "love wall." The wall was a collection of memories that Rob had gathered throughout their entire relationship, from ticket stubs to cocktail napkins from the restaurants they had visited. On most of the items, he would write the date and a memory that they shared from that day/evening. They plan to continue adding to the wall throughout their relationship. We'll pause here for a resounding "awww!"

We're so, so happy that we got to be a part of this day. Congratulations Rob + Alana, we're wishing you many more amazing memories to add to your collection!

P.S. Did we mention that they went on a safari in Africa for their honeymoon? Or that they look as good in khaki as they do in their wedding attire?!

xo,

A+J
